Hello Friends of the Argonauts. I remember you folks from back in 1991 and 1992, when I was married to an Argos fan. I am of course, a Riders fan, and that will never change, but I do have a soft spot for the Argos (particularly since I have lived in Toronto since 1986).

My son attended Friends of the Argonauts gatherings in his infant seat back then.

Anyhow, plenty has changed in the meantime, but I am once again married to a frustrated Argos fan and the son, who used to attend gatherings in his baby seat is now almost 18 and has been playing OVFL football for a couple of years.

So, hi Friends!!

You're not wearing a watermelon on your head while posting are you? That's dangerous.

Naw, don't like watermelon. Do have lots o pics of my kid at Argos practices over the years tho, from age 2 to about 14? Noel Prefontaine taught him to kick when he was 12, and it stuck. And my wife got a grey cup shirt from the Argos last win. Unfortunately, saw her first Argos game the next season, and moved up here permanently in 2006, so really hasn't had all that much to be happy about as an Argos fan since. She really took to the Canadian game, even being a fan of the Green Bay Packer and University of Wisconsin Badgers.
